Mouse - if your mouse dies on you and you still need to eke out a few more clicks - using System Tools 5.0 (Finder 6.0, System 4.2).  If it's not already there drag the Easy Access icon over to your System folder.  Restart your Mac, launch the application/file you need to work on and press COMMAMD-SHIFT-CLEAR.  This will activate Easy Access and you will be able to move the mouse pointer using the keyboard's numeric keypad.  This will not work with the separate Apple Numeric Keypad.
